Amber is as old as time itself, dating back millions of years. And yet, it is still believed in today and used for its magnificent healing power for treating joint pain, arthritic ailments, and teething pain for children.
Canyon Leaf's jewelry is handmade using genuine Baltic Amber that is over 45 million years old. Baltic Amber has some of the highest concentrations of Succinic Acid found in nature, and this is what makes it so special. The string in each of our teething necklaces and bracelets is knotted by hand in between each and every bead, so should the necklace break (which it should if necessary), the rest of the beads will not scatter. The necklace fastens with a screw clasp that opens and closes easily.
