We were drawn to this doll because its use of safe materials. We felt good about spending more money, knowing there were not harmful forever chemicals that could impact our kiddo down the road. This was the perfect gift for our 2 year old daughter. She loves her, and how realistic the doll is. Styling the hair has a great bonus, as our 2 year old refuses to wear anything in her hair, but how she wants her hair to be in a braid like the doll. We found clothes for the doll on etsy, which was a bit expensive but again, we could make sure we were getting a safe, high quality item. The doll came promptly and does really have a vanilla scent to it. As someone who didn't play with dolls as a kid, I think its a cool doll!
This is our 4th minikane doll, and her hair is by far the best I feel since it's not super straight and layered. Nice quality doll, my daughter loves her.
